In August 2017, we took a Grand Circle Travel (GCT) Land Tour through England, Scotland and Wales. The adjacent map shows our route, the locations of our stops/visits and the pre and post tours. The tour took us through most of England, to the west coast of Wales, and up to Edinburgh Scotland. The pre-tour afforded us a few extra days in London. On the post tour, we went to Inverness, in northern Scotland, and to the Scottish Highlands.

The program director for our tour was David Sherring who was an excellent Program Director. We learned a lot from him and had a great time.

During our trip we saw many interesting places in the three countries and took lots of photos. For this album, the photos have been categorized into galleries by location. Hopefully, the photos in the various galleries will do justice to the beautiful places we saw. Having visited so many places, we could not remember many of the names to describe their locations. Enjoy the photos!

To see who was with us on the tour, click on the "Tour Farewell" and "Final Dinner" galleries.

The photos in each gallery can be viewed by clicking on one of the thumbnail images and then clicking the arrows to move forward or backward. They can also be viewed as a slideshow by clicking on the "Show slideshow" link.

Following our trip, David sent us an outline of our tour and tour route maps of the entire trip. These can be viewed by clicking on the links below. Thanks, David!
